Abstract
Isothermal sections of the partial Ru-ZrRu-ZrIr-Ir system are plotted at the temperatures 1900 and 1600 deg C. Solid-liquid equilibria are found to exist at 1900 deg C within the wide range of compositions. The phase equilibrium pattern at 1600 deg C remains similar to that at subsolidus temperatures, i.e. the following four three-phase fields + + , + + , + + Zr(Ru,Ir) and + + are detected as well as nine two-phase ones corresponding to them. Insignificant (as compared with subsolidus temperatures) narrowing (down to 0.01-0.03 at. fractions) of the homogeneity regions of primary solid solutions and phases on the base of ZrIr/sub 3/, ZrIr/sub 2/, ZrRu/sub 2/ and Zr(Ru,Ir) compounds is observed.
