Abstract
A technique of radionuclide splenoportography with sup(99m)Tc-MAA is described. The results of examination of 17 children have shown insignificant traumatism and a high informative value of the method in portal hypertension. It makes possible to determine a quantitative value of the collateral blood outflow from the portal system and to assess the effect of palliative operations (embolization, sclerosing of the varicose veins) on the portal hemodynamics.
