Centralized and decentralized power supply. Zentrale und dezentrale Energieversorgung

Abstract

The centralization of energy recovery and processing is opposed by efforts to decentralize the energy use as with further processing of the energy source used for the generation of net energy, the specific final energy demand, the expenditure for the distribution of energy, the space requirement and the environmental pollution at the place of use are decreased. With respect to this development the report presents the state of development of renewable energy sources. Discussed are: solar-water technology, solar cell technology with polycrystalline cells, monocrystalline silicon disks, thin-film technology, photovoltaic technology, the simulation of photovoltaic units, wind power units, solar production of process heat, solar heat collectors, heat pump systems, combined heating and power plants, water heating plants and energetical and material expenditures for the construction of power generation plants. Separate records are available for all 18 reports. (HW).
