A computer program for the analysis and drawing of the voltage stability phenomenon; Um programa computacional para a analise e ilustracao do fenomeno de estabilidade de tensao

Abstract

The existing overloaded electric power systems are in growing risks of voltage instability since economic and environmental restrictions limit investments in new transmission lines. The mechanisms which conduct a system to a voltage collapse are not yet well understood. Therefore, it is important to develop computational tools which easy the understand and analysis of such problem. This work presents important basic concepts concerning voltage stability. 8 refs., 10 figs.
