Abstract
A case of endosteal hyperostosis (Worth type) in a 35 year old Japanese man was presented. The differential diagnosis was discussed with special attention to the similar radiographic features of endosteal hyperostosis (Van Buchem type). While we were unable to investigate the alkaline phosphatase level or hereditary mode, the final diagnosis of endosteal hyperostosis (Worth type) could be made, based on the clinical point of his benign course and on the detailed observation of discriminating findings on skeletal radiographs.
