Abstract
The results are given of the development and experimental research of explosive electron beam accelerator circuits powered by magneto-cumulative generators forming the current pulse, using explosive plasma opening switches. The conceptual lay-out of inductive terawatt X-ray generators powered by EMGs is proposed. The calculation results of the terawatt x-ray generator including the load placed in a special bunker are presented. Analyzed are the losses at the stage of the HE energy conversion into that of the magnetic fields, those occur ing in transmission along the high-voltage cable line, as well as the processes developing in the plasma opening switches.
