More on the problem of roentgen definition

Abstract

A further substantiation is presented of the proposal found in Comments on the Problem of the New Definition for the Units of X- and Gamma-Radiations and Radioactivity (DC-58-9)-84(p.1-13)) that the roentgen can be applied for doses produced by radiation for which the average work of ionization can be estimated as equal to 33 ev. (J.R.D.)
