Abstract
In the last years, different authors have been studying the north region of the Rio Grande do Norte State, Brazil, aiming to recognize the neotectonic event existence. In this region, inserted in the domains of the Basin Potiguar, two structural trends are observed, that may be correlated to the Lineamento de Afonso Bezerra (LAB) and to the Sistema de Falhas de Carnaubais (SFC). This work intends to deals with an area situated at the centre-north portion of the State, analysing gravimetric and remote sensing data 10 refs., 2 figs.
