Abstract
Properties of the neutrons produced from the {sup 1}H({sup 11}B,n){sup 11}C reaction, which was proved to be suitable for producing mono-energetic neutrons in the region of 7 to 13 MeV, were measured for precise measurements of neutron cross-section using the {sup 1}H({sup 11}B,n){sup 11}C neutron source. Due to poor time resolution, the energy spectra of mono-energetic area could not be measured accurately. The experimental TOF spectra are compared with calculated one that simulated the neutron production inside the H{sub 2} gas target by the Monte-Carlo method. These results will be employed in corrections of previous data and designing future experiments. (author).
