Abstract

Stable H.F. plasmoids are obtained with a density n≅ 10{sup 7} electrons/cm{sup 3} and temperature T = several times 10{sup 5} deg. K. It is observed that n corresponds to a value such that the H.F. excitation can maintain the electronic resonance of the plasmoid, the pulsation of which is given by ω{sub 0} = (√(4πne{sup 2}/m)).
