Abstract

The changes in the concentration of the v1 phosphate molecule of the surface of dentin enamel are treated and researched with bleaching agents of chemical activation to basis of hydrogen peroxide than 9,5% and 14% and carbamide peroxide than 38%, for a period of 28 days. Raman spectroscopy was used and 30 dental pieces extracted, of which, were to be free of blemishes and pigmentations, without possessing fractures of the enamel, decay nor any other type of defect. The Raman spectrum was obtained of each dental piece prior to the application of bleaching agents. The specimens were separated into three experimental groups according to the concentration of whitening. The concentration of the v1 phosphate molecule was measured in the tooth enamel to the second and fourth week of treatment. In addition, ANOVA was performed for respective measurements (p≤0.05). A reduction of the v1 phosphate molecule were observed during and after the bleaching process in the experimental groups that have used of hydrogen peroxide to 14% and carbamide peroxide 38%. This loss has been greater in the whitening of higher concentration. In spite, that the possible effect remineralizing of the saliva on a teeth whitening process has been unevaluated, it is recommended using during and after the treatment, toothpastes, mouthwashes, chewing gums, dental floss, among others, that contain ACP to help to cushion the potential loss of phosphate from tooth enamel. (author) [Spanish] Los cambios en la concentracion de la molecula de fosfato v1 de la superficie del esmalte dental son tratados e investigados con agentes blanqueadores de activacion quimica a base de peroxido de hidrogeno al 9,5% y 14% y peroxido de carbamida al 38%, por un periodo de 28 dias. Espectroscopia Raman fue utilizada y 30 piezas dentales fueron extraidas, las cuales, debian estar libres de manchas y pigmentaciones, sin poseer fracturas en el esmalte, caries ni ningun otro tipo de defecto. El espectro Raman es obtenido de cada pieza dental previo a la aplicacion de agentes blanqueadores. Los especimenes fueron separados en tres grupos experimentales segun la concentracion del blanqueamiento. La concentracion de la molecula de fosfato v1 fue medida en el esmalte dental a la segunda y cuarta semana del tratamiento. Ademas, ANOVA es realizada para mediciones respectivas (p≤0.05). Una reduccion de las moleculas de fosfato v1 fueron observadas durante y al finalizar el proceso de blanqueamiento en los grupos experimentales que han utilizado peroxido de hidrogeno al 14% y peroxido de carbamida al 38%. En el grupo de peroxido de hidrogeno al 9,5% ha quedado sin demostrar una reduccion significativa. Dentro de las limitaciones de este estudio es concluido que el agente blanqueador causa una perdida de fosfato v1. Dicha perdida ha sido mayor en los blanqueamientos de mayor concentracion. A pesar, que el posible efecto remineralizante de la saliva en un proceso de blanqueamiento dental ha quedado sin evaluar, es recomendado utilizar durante y despues del tratamiento, pastas dentales, enjuagues, gomas de mascar, hilo dental, entre otros, que contengan ACP para ayudar a amortiguar la potencial perdida de fosfato del esmalte dental.
