Effect of power engineering on ecological situation in Yakutia

Abstract

Among a number of anthropogenic factors forming the intensity of technogenic pressure on the environment accompanied by worsening of environmental conditions the power engineering takes a special place. As the environmental problems of power are to a certain extent a 'mirror' of the whole environmental situation, the main attention is paid to the emissions of air pollutants and discharges of contaminants into water by power industry enterprises in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
