Abstract
Some of the important details of the programme are given. From the financial point of view the Agency's work is divided into two categories. The first comprises activities which fall under the Regular Budget and are financed out of assessed contributions by Member States, while the second consists of activities under the Operational Budget, financed out of voluntary contributions by Member States to the Agency's General Fund and other resources, such as funds made available under the United Nations Expanded Programme of Technical Assistance (EPTA) and gifts of equipment, free services of experts and free training facilities. Chief among the latter activities are technical assistance and training
