Architectonic strategies for sub-climates for the Mexican Republic; Estrategias arquitectonicas por subclimas para la republica mexicana

Abstract

In Mexico does not exist guides of bio-climatic design whose reading and interpretation be so simple that any architect or professional of the construction without experience in the bio-climatic area, can use when designing or remaking suitable a construction. A group formed by ten professors (project coauthors) of the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad Michoacana have undertaken the task of making tables, with profuse graphical material, for each one of the main sub climates of our country, with respect to their economic and urban importance. The selection of the sub climates was done taking into account that they are those that are present in the capital cities and other cities of high urban importance. Basically each one of the tables contains: description of the sub climate and its location by climatic region, relevant physical-geographic aspects, excellent climatic conditions, strategically bio-climatic to use, proposed strategies of design from the solar and Aeolian axes (direction and location of spaces and openings, materials and constructive systems, solar and Aeolian control system). The present work is part of a book on bio-climatic design for architecture in Mexico of proximate publication, that will contain, divided according to the 10 proposed climatic regions by the  More>>

Basicamente cada una de las tablas contiene: Descripcion del subclima y su ubicacion por region climatica, aspectos fisico-geograficos relevantes, condiciones climaticos relevantes, estrategias bioclimaticas a utilizar, propuestas de diseno a partir de los ejes solar y eolico (orientacion y ubicacion de espacios y aberturas, materiales y sistemas constructivos, sistema de control solar y eolico). El presente trabajo es parte de un libro sobre diseno bioclimatico para arquitectura en Mexico de proxima publicacion, que contendra, divididas segun las 10 regiones climaticas propuestas por el Instituto de Geografia de la UNAM1, carpetas con los sublimas que se presenten en cada una de las 10 regiones climatica, y en cada una de ellas, tablas con las distintas ciudades seleccionadas.}
