Abstract
The book under consideration combines results of the investigations at the Justus Liebig University Giessen (Federal Republic of Germany) with respect to the development of the energy efficiency right. This book consists of the following contributions: (1) The development of an instrument system in the energy efficiency law (Sven Jesse); (2) Characteristics of the energy efficiency law (Gabriele Britz); (3) Institutional architecture of the regulation of the energy efficiency (Andrea Diehl); (4) Demand-driven duties of energy efficiency of power supply companies in the German law (Gabriele Britz); (5) Power supply companies as a power provider in the sense of the EDL regulation (Nadine Bottke); (6) Energy efficiency by means of a build up of an Energy Information System (Christian Bender); (7) Problems in term of data protection at Smart Metering (Melanie Svenja Hausbrich); (8) The information model in the energy efficiency law using the identification of the energy consumption of automobiles as an example (Franz Reimer); (8) State of the art of the legislation of the energy efficiency (Nadine Bottke).
