Abstract

This work summarizes the acquired experience in the Argentine Electric Wholesale Market for gas turbines researches performance in relation to great disturbances in the frequency. Starting from main devices analysis that control the fuel valve, it is evaluate the necessary accuracy for the used models in electromechanical transitory simulations. Finally, the adopted procedures for investigations and solutions in relation to the detected problems are summarized.
