Abstract

First a short report on development of computer programs for the reliability evaluation and the findings regarding the adequate reliability of Nuclear Power Plant safety systems are given. Then evaluation of the general NPP availability situation is discussed and suggestions for planning and achieving an adequate high availability are presented. (author)
