Abstract
The analytical solutions of the nonlinear Chandrasekhar equations are obtained in small angle approximation. The expressions for the transmission function and the reflection function are presented as series on spherical functions. It is noted that the equivalence of Ambartsumyan and Chandrasekhar equations is broken for the transmission function at using the small angle approach.
