Abstract
Main problems of developing the steam generator (SG) for NPP with WWER-1500 are described. Main requirements to these SG are presented. The features characteristic of the SG of horizontal type are noted. The domestic and world experience of the SG operation is taken into account. It is concluded that the PGV-1500 SG design satisfies the requirements of the conception of the WWER-reactor for the NPP unit at the electric power of 1500 MW.
