Abstract
This progress report is divided in three parts. The first one explains the missions of I.R.S.N. and its organisation. The second part concerns the activities: to protect man and environment, contribution to the safety of installations and transports, to look after the non proliferation, to be a driving force in the international relations, to contribute to the information and training. The third part is relative to the quality and means of the development, to continue the quality objectives, the human resources and social relations, the budget in 2002. (N.C.)
