Abstract

New time-amplitude converter with Esaki diodes, the events being preselected before analysis, allows for realizing a fast neutron spectrometer by time-of-flight with an 1.5 * 10{sup -9} s overall time resolution for {sup 12}C (n,n') at 14 MeV.
