Abstract
The collision cross sectional area of charged dust grains of 8.9 {mu}m in diameter with beam ions is measured by a dusty plasma device. When the dust density is increased, the beam current ratio is reduced. The critical beam energy between scattering and absorption beam ions by dust particles is estimated.
