Abstract
The KLOE experiment [1] has collected {approx} 30pb-1 by the end of the year 2000. A data sample of 17pb-1 has been analyzed so far, searching for {phi} radiative decays into f0(980){gamma} and into a0(980){gamma}. By looking at the five photon final state, corresponding to the two fully neutral decays f0(980) {yields} {pi}0{pi}0 and a0(980) {yields} {eta}{pi}0, {eta} {yields} {gamma}{gamma}, the following branching ratios have been obtained: BR({phi} {yields} f0(980){gamma} {yields} {pi}0{pi}0{gamma}) = (7.9{+-}0.2stat) x 10-5, BR({phi} {yields} a0(980){gamma}) = (5.8{+-}0.5stat) x 10-5. A preliminary analysis of the decay {phi} {yields} a0(980){gamma} {yields} {eta}{pi}0, {eta} {yields} {pi}+{pi}-{pi}0 has given the result: BR({phi} {yields} {eta}{pi}0{gamma}) = (6.7 {+-} 0.9stat) x 10-5. We find for the ratio of the two rates the value (BR({phi}{yields}f{sub 0}(980){gamma})/BR({phi}{yields}a{sub 0}(980){gamma})) = 4.1 {+-} 0.4{sub stat}, which gives the first significant indication of the structure of these states.
