Fabrication of Ag absorber-used normal metal-insulator-superconductor tunnel junction and measurement of its I-V characteristics

Abstract

A normal metal-insulator-superconductor tunnel junction detector was fabricated with a Ag absorber. The current-voltage curve at 4.2 K was measured and the sub gap voltage was found 1.6mV from the differential conductance curve. (author)
