Abstract
We studied vortex states in Bi{sub 2}Sr{sub 2}CaCu{sub 2}O{sub 8+y} under tilted fields by means of Bitter decoration. The results in large in-plane fields up to 3000 Oe show zigzag arrangement of vortices in addition to the chains. A possible origin of this novel arrangement of vortices is discussed.
