Abstract
We report the study of the CaLaBaCu{sub 2.80}(BO{sub 3}){sub 0.2}O{sub 6.4}-compound which is superconductor at the critical temperature of 68 K. This compound was prepared by the solid state reaction method under normal conditions of pressure and temperature, replacing a percentage of copper (x=6.7%) from CaLaBaCu{sub 3}O{sub 7-{delta}} (La1113) by the oxianion borate (BO{sub 3}){sup 3-}. T{sub c} onset was determined by measurements of magnetic susceptibility by using a SQUID detection system. The X-ray Rietveld analysis of this compound can be characterized by orthorhombic symmetry (Pmmm)
