Hadron spin-flip amplitude: an analysis of the new A{sub N} data from RHIC

Abstract

Through a direct analysis of the scattering amplitude, we show that the preliminary measurement of A{sub N} obtained by the E950 Collaboration at different energies leads to the large slope of the scattering amplitude and are mainly sensitive to the choice of the energy behavior of the p(s, t).
