Abstract
The effect of the water-DMSO mixed solvent composition on the enthalpies and entropies of the cadmium(2) graduated complexing reactions with the ethylenediamine is considered. The reactions thermal effects are determined through the calorimetric method. It is shown that the ethylenediamine coordination enthalpy does not depend on the complexing grade by any mixed solvent composition. The enthalpy-entropy compensation effect is observed at the first and second complexing grades.
