Thermodynamic characteristics of strontium uranophosphate and uranoarsenate and of their synthesis reactions; Termodinamicheskie kharakteristiki uranofosfata i uranoarsenata strontsiya i protsessov ikh sinteza

Abstract

The temperature dependence of the isobar heat capacity of the Sr(PUO{sub 6}){sub 2}{center_dot}8H{sub 2}O (1) and Sr(AsUO{sub 6}){sub 2}{center_dot}8H{sub 2}O (2) compounds are measured through the calorimetry method within the temperature range of 6-320 and 80-320 K correspondingly. The values of the absolute entropies, standard entropies and Gibbs functions of the 1 and 2 compounds formation are calculated. The thermodynamic characteristics of the synthesis reactions of the 1 and 2 compounds are calculated through the methods of the ion exchange and deposition from the solution. It is shown that the second method provides for higher target product yield.
