Abstract
The optimization of the flux composition is carried out and the effect of the cast metal modification through the dispersive inoculators during the electroslag remelting of the cast scrap of the vital details from the high-temperature nickel alloy ZhS6 is identified. It is established, that application of the nonoxidizing flux in the form of the pure calcium fluoride and modification of the metal through the ultradispersive powders TiCN+Y provide for the required quality of the cast billets, suitable for further remelting in the vacuum induction furnace.
