Abstract
The samples were made from fresh animal blood by separating the blood particles from the serum, stirring and subsequent spray drying. No spiking with active or inactive materials was made. Each participating laboratory received a 500 g sub-sample of the material. In the case of {sup 137}Cs-analysis, two of the laboratories submitted two different sets of results which were obtained by different analytical methods. Results were presented in separate tables for both elements.
