Biodigestor plant costs for energy and/or fertilizer production; Custo de instalacao de biodigestor para a producao de energia e/ou biofertilizante

Abstract

With the increasing of the petroleum prices that can affects the brazilian economy, the search for practical, simple and economic solutions as an effort to reduce the consumption of this non-renewable source, the biodigestor reappears as one of the alternatives for the biogas and bio fertilizers production in rural areas. The appearance of the economic development paradigm with the approach of sustainability, make the biodigestor plays key role in the assurance of the agricultural sustainability, in relation to animal waste management. The present paper shows an economical analysis of the biodigestor indian type plant costs built at the Agricultural Science College of the State University from Sao Paulo, localized in Botucatu, Brazil (FCA/UNESP). The main objective was, under the binomial competitiveness and sustainability, to look for technical and economical solutions that became available the use of animal wastes, in the search for aggregation value to rural owners for the decreasing of the costs in electric energy, petroleum liquefied fuel or in the expenses with chemical fertilizers. It was applied the empirical research method of case study with the evaluation of the plant costs of the biodigestor with present capacity of 7 m{sup 3}, The results refers to the potential production  More>>
