Abstract

The measurement of the quantity of diffused light by particulates in suspension in a gas allows to determine the concentration and the size of an aerosol. The aim of this work is to check the answer of the usual photometer in the laboratories, the Phoenix-Sinclair and the Royco-230. The minimum diameter of the particulates detected by these photometers is about 0.3 microns. Le but de ce travail est de verifier la reponse du photometres d'usage courant dans les laboratoires, le Phoenix-Sinclair et le Royco-230.
