Abstract
This report presents the environmental strategy and action means of Vivendi Environnement group (Vivendi Water, Onyx, Dalkia, Connex) in the domains of air, water, wastes and soils. The commitments of the group concern: the protection of natural environments with the preservation of resources and the abatement of pollution sources at the different sites managed by the group, the implementation of an environmental management system with representative indicators, the management of the conformability of the facilities and processes used, the improvement of the safety and sanitary protection, and the development of the research activity in these domains: abatement of greenhouse gases emissions and atmospheric pollutions, optimization of energy efficiency, promotion of cogeneration systems and of the use of renewable energies and clean fuels, collection and processing of the biogas from waste dumps, development of district heating networks, optimization of public transportation systems, improvement of smokes quality at incineration facilities, improvement of drinkable water quality and saving water resources (desalination of sea water, reuse and cleansing of waste waters and leachates), development of waste collection, sorting and recycling, energy valorization of wastes, improvement of soils quality (compost) and rehabilitation of polluted soils.
