Abstract
The use of high precision radiation with particles (protons and ions) allows the radiation of tumors near risk organs and immedicable tumors. The aim of this work is the comparison between normal tissue complication probability for craniocerebral tumors of children and youth during simulation of photontherapy and proton therapy. The multivariate analysis gives the possibility to determine the tolerance dose for certain organs. (author)
