Abstract
This paper provides a brief comment related with a projected repository to managed tailings of Malargue Plant, located in the city of Malargue (Mendoza province). The approved plan for restoration of Malargue consist of on site relocation of tailings to an engineered repository. The Site is located too close of Malargue city. To isolate tailings from the environment a multilayer system has been projected, in order to keep humidity of residues and multilayer, to avoid migration of contaminant to the environment. (author)
