Abstract
In the light of the trial design/manufacture made in the previous fiscal year, the following were conducted in this R and D: design/manufacture of a system to support the combinedly complete design of designer, contemplation of a system to instantly search the necessary images without keyword input, joint design of urban environment after completion of urban redevelopment by virtual reality technology, design/manufacture of a system by which many people can feel reality, and manufacture of a system to enable evaluation of disaster prevention by a model of urban planning design. Further, carried out were exchanges of technology information and survey on the trend of domestic/overseas technology. In the R and D of the Kansei agent and human media database, pre-prototyping of the integrated system was conducted. By this, an image was materialized for realization of an industrial design support system including sensible information and multimedia contents using database. In the R and D of urban environment human media, the following were conducted: design/evaluation support for design including buildings and the whole urban environment; primary development of individual technology by which many people can virtually experience simultaneously landscape, wind environment, refuge behavior at the time of disaster, etc. (NEDO)
