Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of such changes in the rules of the game on the Korean nuclear industry and to propose possible countermeasures in short-term and long-term perspectives at the national level. This study also has an educational purpose to help people. working in the nuclear field understand the significance of the changes in the rules of the game. This study looks through the history and contents of the GATT system, the UR, the AGP, and the post-UR movement, providing some insight on the current trend in the rules of the game. Also this study analyzes the impact of the changes in the rules of the game on the Korean nuclear industry in qualitative terms, and proposes possible short-term and long-term countermeasures at the national level in both perspectives of utility and nuclear industry. 5 figs, 15 tabs, 51 refs.
