Abstract
The emissions of acid (sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides) and alkaline (ammonia and alkaline particle) emissions in Sweden during 1900-1990 are invented as a first part of the project `Estimation of the accumulated acid deposition from the atmosphere to the ecosystems in Sweden`. Emissions from energy production, traffic, industrial processes and husbandry are estimated. The results show the considerable increase in emissions of sulphur and nitrogen oxides since the middle of the century. (37 refs., 24 figs., 4 tabs.)
