Abstract
High energy neutrons were obtained from d(50 MeV){yields}Be and P(50 MeV){yields}Be reactions. Their efects on living cells are studied and compared with those of fission neutrons (E{approx}1.2 MeV), gamma-quanta of {sup 137}Cs and X-rays (250 kV, 10 mA). Using cultured L-cells, we found that, in low dose range, the dose power affects cell survival in a dose-dependent manner. When impact of gamma irradiation into full dose enhances, L-cell division rate decreases, while detected number of giant multinuclear cells increases. 8 refs.; 5 figs.
