A burn-up module coupling to an AMPX system; Acople de un modulo de quemado al sistema AMPX

Abstract

The Reactors and Neutrons Division of the Bariloche Atomic Center uses the AMPX system for the study of high conversion reactors (HCR). Such system allows to make neutronic calculations from the nuclear data library (ENDF/B-IV). The Nuclear Engineering career of the Balseiro Institute developed and implemented a burn-up module at a {mu}-cell level (BUM: Burn-up Module) which agrees with the requirement to be coupled to the AMPX system. (Author). [Espanol] En la Division Neutrones y Reactores del Centro Atomico Bariloche se utiliza el sistema AMPX para el estudio de reactores de alta conversion (HCR). Dicho sistema permite realizar calculos neutronicos partiendo de la biblioteca de datos nucleares evaluados ENDF/B-IV. La carrera de Ingenieria Nuclear del Instituto Balseiro desarrollo e implemento un modulo de quemado a nivel de {mu}-celda (BUM: Burn-Up Module) que cumple con el requerimiento de estar acoplado al sistema AMPX.
