Abstract
This work presents a general description of the `GURI 01` bundle model, designed by INVAP S.E., under international radioactive material transportation regulations, as a B(U) type bundle for international transportation up to a maximum of 350000 Ci of Co60. Moreover, the methodologies used and the results obtained from the structural evaluation of the mechanic essay and from the evaluation of the thermal behaviour under normal or accident conditions are briefly discussed. [Espanol] Este trabajo presenta una descripcion general del modelo de bulto `GURI 01`, disenado por INVAP S.E., bajo las normas internacionales de transporte de material radiactivo, como bulto tipo B(U) para el transporte internacional de un maximo de 350000 Ci de Co60. Ademas se describen suscintamente las metodologias utilizadas y los resultados obtenidos en la evaluacion estructural del ensayo mecanico y en la evaluacion del comportamiento termico tanto en condiciones normales como en accidentes.
