Abstract
Five years following the Chernobyl reactor accident, the event was discussed in terms of its effects on Germany and the Sovjet Union. During this period, particular attention had been given to the radioactive load from exposure of the general public to internal as well as external radiation. Wholebody measurements and epidemiologic surveys permitted insights into the radiation effects attributable to the Chernobyl fallout. The most recent Law on the Prevention of Radiation Injuries, which was passen in 1986, and the current situation in the Sovjet Union were dealt with in brief. (DG) [Deutsch] Fuenf Jahre nach dem Reaktorunfall in Tschernobyl wurden die Folgen fuer Deutschland und die Sowjetunion diskutiert. Insbesondere erfolgte eine Betrachtung der Belastung der Bevoelkerung durch externe und interne Strahlenexposition. Ganzkoerpermessungen und epidemiologische Untersuchungen ergaben einen Ueberblick ueber die Tschernobyl zugeschriebenen Strahleneffekte. Das neue Strl VG von 1986 und die Situation in der Sowjetunion wurden kurz beschrieben. (DG)
