Abstract
Within its space activities, the Departement d`Electronique et d`Instrumentation Nucleaire (DEIN) is presently studying the behaviour of electronic components submitted to the type of radiations encountered by satellites in orbits or by planetary probes. To simulate the effects of the light particles (protons), the DEIN with the Laboratoire National SATURNE (LNS) has adapted an experimental line to irradiate electronic components on the SATURNE synchrotron, located at Saclay. In this paper, the irradiation line is described and the upset cross-sections per bit of static memories obtained during different runs are given.
