Abstract
Extracted ion beams for fixed target experiments can be provided as a by-product at unique multi-GeV ion colliders by means of bent crystal channeling. The main quaestions in this connection are discussed. Results on efficiency of ion beam deflection and extraction are presented. Calculations on a possible extracted 100-GeV, Au-beam parameters for RHIC were made. 16 refs.; 2 figs.
