Abstract

This report represents Part 3 in a series of three reports which review the speciation and solubility of radionuclides in the near and far field. Part 3 is a comparison of the research funded by Nirex and the department of the Environment with the bibliography. This report provides a comparison between the two earlier reports in this series, that is, Part 1 (A review of Nirex and DOE funded research) and Part 2 (Bibliography from 1978 to 1991). These reviews of the solubility and speciation of radionuclides in the near and far fields of a radioactive waste repository are focused on the particular situation prevailing in the UK. (Author).
