Abstract
The FEL experiment in the Raman region was carried out using a focusing planar wiggler on LAX-1 (Large current Accelerator Experiment). The energy of the electron beam is {approx} 1MeV. The beam transport ratio of more than 75% was attained. In the amplification experiment, the spatial growth ratio of 56dB/m and the output power of more than 5MW was obtained. (author).
