Hashoej biogas plant. Pilot project; Hashoej biogasanlaeg. Forprojekt

Abstract

The pilot project describes the plans for a communal biomass conversion plant the aim of which is to supply 2 Danish towns with district heating from a combined biogas and natural gas based cogeneration plant. The plant will operate on organic wastes from the local industry, especially from farms and slaughterhouses. It will be constructed in modules using new improved cheap techniques for operation and cleaning of gas. The biogas will be stored in a tank with a double membrane, which at the same time is used as a storage facility. (CLS).
