Abstract
This workshop was carried out on December 17 and 18, 1998, at JAERI, Tokai in a series of modification material by irradiation in `the multi-core project II of the high temperature superconducting material research` organized by Science and Technology Agency. The following is the abstract of presentations concerning basic theories, various experimental results and material improvement of the superconductivity by high energy ion irradiation.
