Abstract
The development of a computerized control system for a wind/diesel (a diesel generator parallel with a windmill) plant is described. The two applicable configurations and the state of the system are clarified. The system`s components can be controlled with the help of a number of signals which form the background for the specification of the choice of hardware. On the basis of the diagram of the wind/diesel`s condition the control programme is developed. This programme organizes the control of the plant after weighing up a number of criteria in the control strategy. (AB).
